## Questions about the price

### Why is there no price on the build?

Goudbeek names no amount up front for building an AI solution, because any number without an intake would be made up. What an AI solution costs depends on what it has to do, which systems it touches and how much human review you want around it. After a short intake you get one fixed price up front, in writing, not an open bill.

### What does the AI itself cost?

The AI models are billed on usage, so that part follows your volume: the more messages or documents the system handles, the more it comes to. It sits outside the build and the hosting, and the quote spells out what to expect for your case.

### We already have hosting. Do we need a plan?

No, with hosting of your own you do not need a Goudbeek plan: what we build can run in your own environment. You then take on the monitoring, the updates and the upkeep yourself, and in practice that is the part that keeps a system working. Either way, the choice is yours.

### What happens to our data?

An AI solution from Goudbeek works from your own products, documents and data, and it only has access to what you give it. Which systems it may reach and what it may do there is something you set, and it is written into the agreement before anything is built.

### Can we start small and grow?

Yes, you can start small and grow, because an AI solution is built in blocks: a chatbot first, an agent later, a connection after that, without starting over. Every step starts with a small working prototype on your own data, so you see what it does before you take it further.

### How soon do I hear back after a request?

After a quote request you hear back within one working day. The request goes out from your own mail app, so you keep a copy, and it is read by the person who builds it — there is no sales team in between. After that comes a short call, and after that intake you get one fixed price in writing.

### What does hosting cost?

Hosting starts at €39 a month. That covers HTTPS, DDoS protection, backups and updates that go live straight away, on hosting we run and keep an eye on. ### Who owns the code, the domain and the content?

The code, the domain and the content are yours and stay yours, and nothing locks you in: if you later want to host somewhere else or have someone else build on it, you can. That is written into the agreement up front, together with what gets built and what it runs on.
